Survey Background

The purpose of our survey is to see how most people benefit from certain applications (iStudiez Pro, Adobe Reader, Penultimate, Skype, Dropbox and Classdojo) and why they choose to use these particular applications. We are also trying to find out which (of the specified) applications is most commonly used by the average student. This allows us to give informed advice about the most useful application to students.

Being a student, it is very hard to constantly keep up to date with assignments and tasks. Our survey will which applications can be used to help keep up to date and that can keep us informed and notify us the instant we have a new assignment or task, or let us know of any changes in venues etc. Finding the best app for this task is important. Many students waste hours planning, writing in diaries to ensure they are constantly fully aware of due tasks and present for every lecture. An app that takes care of this aspect can be the most valuable app to any student.

In addition, many students find it beneficial to share notes or study with a partner. We want to investigate which applications are most successful in allowing students to work together.

This survey will enable us to better understand the uses of different applications, as well as to give advice on them and use them within our own lives.
